Steps
- Navigate to console.cloud.google.com and sign in with your company Google account email address and password.
- Once you’re logged in, open the “Select a project” dropdown in the top left of the screen and navigate to the relevant project. You should be redirected to the dashboard page for that specific project.
- On the dashboard, head into “Billing”.
- If there is an existing billing account already set up for your Google Cloud account, you will see
- From there, select “Go to linked billing account” and click “Manage billing account” to check that your billing details are up to date.
If there is no billing account connected, please select “Manage Billing Accounts” then “Add Billing Account”.
- Within the ‘Account Information’ page, please select “Australia” as the country and hit “Agree & Continue”.
- Fill in your Business name and details of your Payment method and hit “Start Free”.
- Click the Google Cloud logo in the top left corner to navigate back to the dashboard.
- In the dashboard, please hit “Activate Full Account” to ensure that the Maps are kept running after the trial process. Your credits from the free trial will be transferred over to the full account.
- If there is no “Activate Full Account” button appearing on the dashboard, navigate to the three lines in the top left hand corner and hover over ‘Billing’ then hit ‘Overview’.
- Scroll down to “Activate Full Account” on the right hand side.
